She often measured the dew point of the swimming pool and worked with a psychrometer, which was also used to measure weather conditions. This made her interested in weather forecasts. She decided to start her career at the Weather Channel. Initially, she worked behind the camera collecting information needed for weather forecasting, and after a few years, she got the chance to be in front of the camera and work as an intern at the Weather Channel.
After completing her one-year internship, she was hired as a full-time employee. She formerly participated in the trainee program for on-screen meteorologists. She later worked for ‘Weather Underground’. It is a commercial weather service that provides real-time weather services over the Internet. Additionally, in 2013, Jen began hosting “Weather Center Live” with Alex Wallace on Thursday through Friday mornings and weekends. After all these years of hardships, she has managed to reach the highest peak, which is a truly proud moment for her.
