Daniella Karagach is an American professional dancer and choreographer. She is known for her performances on Dancing with the Stars and, along with her dance partner Leonid Juashkovsky, won the United States Junior I and II Latin Championships three times. They were the champions of the 2007 Junior II 10 Dance. Both together have also represented the United States at World Cups in Latvia, Russia, and Barcelona. She is a professional dancer in Dancing with the Stars.
Early life
Karagach was born on December 26, 1992, in Brooklyn, New York to immigrant parents from Moldova. Her original name is Brittany Karagach Pashkova. She was raised for most of her childhood with her single mother, Regina Yvette Karagacha, whose parents divorced a year after her birth. She later moved in with her stepfather, Arie Zurinam, and stepsister, Ariana Zurinam. Daniella started ballet very early at the age of 3 and when she turned 7 she started taking Latin dance classes.
She developed more interest in dancing and began studying ballroom dancing at the age of eleven. Despite being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Daniella was an excellent student. She attended Franklin D. Roosevelt High School and later City University of New York on the Staten Island College campus in 2010 with a major in childhood education.
Daniella Karagach Career
Karagach dances with Pasha Pashkov and they started dancing together in January 2009. Together they are seven-time United States 10-Dance Champions and Latin Champions. And she is the youngest to hold that title. The pair were selected together to represent the United States at the 2009 World Games in Taiwan. They have also represented the USA at the 10th World Dance Championships in Austria, the Ballroom World Championships in Germany in November 2010, and the World Championships in Korea.
In June 2011, they represented the United States at the World 10 Dance Cup in Szombathely, Hungary, the World Latin Championship in Singapore in September 2011, the World Ballroom Championship in Moscow, Russia in October 2011, and the World Ten Dance Championship in Shanghai, China in November 2011. They won the UK Open Ten Dance Championship which was held in London.
In 2012 they made it to the semi-finals of the Blackpool Dance Festival and became US Dance National Latin Champions in the same year. They have also appeared on touring shows with dance professionals and were also featured on Dance Legends in 2015. In 2017 Karagach and Pashkov won the Blackpool (British Open) Rising Star Professional Championship as well as the UK Open Rising Star Professional Championship. They won the United States Latin Show Dance Championship in 2018. Daniella and her husband Pasha took part in the second season of NBC’s World of Dance. Both are professionals on the 28th season of Dancing with the Stars on ABC television.

Daniella is married to her dance partner Pasha Pashkov, whom she met at a dance rehearsal. Together they are seven-time United States 10-Dance Champions and Latin Champions. After four years of relationship, the couple decided to get married on July 18, 2014.
In November 2022, Karagach announced on Instagram her pregnancy, and on May 30, 2023, their daughter, Nikita Sofia Pashkova, was born.
Daniella runs an Instagram and YouTube channel together with Maria Belova under the names NYLAlife and NYLAstretching.
