Kirby Smart is an American personality and a professional football coach. He has also remained the player for football games before coaching the same. Currently, he is serving the designation of head football coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, where he had his education. As the head coach, he has trained and managed his team to appear and have consecutive national victories for 2021 and 2022.
Early Life
Kirby Smart was born on 23rd December 1975 and he is 47 years old. He was brought up in Montgomery, Alabama, and later relocated to Bainbridge, Georgia, where he spent his childhood. He began playing in Georgia, where he attended Bainbridge High School, the University of Georgia, and Florida State University.
Kirby played hard at the University of Georgia and became a four-year letterman. As a senior, he was selected as the first-team All-SEC selection member. He had 13 inspections and attained fourth place all the time at Georgia University.
Kirby played for the Bulldogs and led six inspections in 1997 and five inspections in 1998. He has also remained a four-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Kirby Smart had his education from the University of Georgia in 1999 with a degree in finance.
He went undrafted in the NFL Draft in 1999. After that, he started playing as a signed free agent with the Indianapolis Colts. He returned to the university and enrolled at the Florida State University for higher education and playing football.
Kirby Smart Career
Kirby started working professionally in 1999 when he had yet to complete his education at the University of Georgia. He first got hired as an administrative assistant at the University of Georgia. Then, he moved to Valdosta State, where he spent one season as defensive back coach. Kirby received the promotion as the defensive coordinator for the season 2001.
After he enrolled at Florida State for his master’s education, he simultaneously pursued the designation of graduate assistant under Bobby Bowden. Kirby went to Louisiana State University, became the defensive back coach, and spent one season under head coach Nick Saban in 2004.
He then rejoined the Georgia Bulldogs football program, where he was designated as the running back coach for the season of 2005. He spent only one season with the NFL [National Football League] in 2006, under the coach Seban, and was hired as the Miami Dolphins safeties coach.

Kirby Smart is a happy-living married man. He has been married to Mary “Beth” Elizabeth Lycett, the basketball player of her time at the University of Georgia. It is believed that the couple met for the first time at the University of Georgia.
The couple have raised three children- a twin pair – Weston [son] and Julia [daughter], born in 2008, and Andrew [son], born in 2012. The youngest son, Andrew, became a member of the Bulldogs team in the 2022 to 2023 season.
