Miranda Elish was born on September 30, 1997, in Crown Point, Indiana, and is approximately 25 years old. She went to Crown Point High School, from where she was the #1 recruit in the FloSoftball-formed nation.
Miranda was raised by her loving and caring parents named Casey Elish, her father, and Dawn Elish, her mother. She shared her childhood while growing up with her other two siblings named Brady Elish and Madi Elish and both siblings are known to be athletes.
Miranda received her college education from Oregon State University and the University of Texas respectively. She is also a recipient of the 2016 MaxPreps First-Team All-American honor and has been named Indiana Gatorade’s Player of the Year three times, as well as the 2014 MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year.

2017 freshman season
During this time, Elish went undefeated as she began her rookie campaign, posting a record of around 12-0. She finished third on the team and later fifth in the Pac-12 due to her new record of 1.79 ERA. She’s also seen the time when she hit .276 in 58 at-bats with 10 runs scored.
During the game, she helped the Ducks come out with a season-opening 35-straight win, which set a new NCAA record. During the season, she ranked Pac-12 and averaged 6.5 strikeouts per seven innings. She was one of the active members of the Oregon Pitching Staff, which ranked 5th in the NCAA with a team ERA of 1.41. During the season, she earned nine on-season strikeouts with a five-inning win over Pacific on March 11, 2017.
2018- 2020 – sophomore, junior and senior seasons
2018 – Elish started the season with her very first inning, notching a career-high 16 strikes in a game against Portland State on April 3, 2018. She hit double digits 11 times in strikes and settled UO’s 53-10 campaign in 2018 with high-profile wins over roster teams including Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Texas, Florida State, LSU, and Kentucky.
Oklahoma
She appeared as the main solo homer, eventually winning with a 4-3 aggregate at No. 21 Oklahoma State. During the season, she made her second no-hitter career, going 2-for-4 with a game-ending grand slam and had five RBIs against Iowa State on March 22, 2019. Eventually, she earned the titles and honors for her effortless in-game play, including NFCA National and Big 12 Conference Pitcher of the Week.
Elish received Softball America’s honor of National Player of the Year for the shortened season. Despite this, she also became the recipient of the abbreviated first-team All-American honor after winning 11-3 on an earned run of 1.53. 2022 – In the March 9 game, she recorded a no-hitter against opponent Minnesota, and the same was seen on March 19 against Wichita State.
She has remained a three-time Big 12 Pitcher of the Week selection, a two-time Big 12 Player of the Week selection, and remained the only player of the 2022 season to set both consecutive records.
