Patricia Guerrero is an American judge who is going to become California’s first Latina Supreme Court chief justice in January 2023. She previously served as an associate judge on the California High Court and the California Court of Appeal for the Fourth District. Guerrero has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of law both as a judge and as a lawyer. She has now been nominated as Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court.

Patricia Guerrero was born in Imperial Valley, California in the early 1970s, but has not shared her exact date of birth. She grew up with a Mexican immigrant father, Jorge Guerrero, and her mother, whose name has not been released. Her mother recently died of breast cancer.
