Tanya Snyder (Tanya Ivie) is an American personality who used to have small jobs and later became an entrepreneur by taking the path of modeling. Early life
Tanya was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1967. She grew up in Forest Park, a suburb of Atlanta, as the third daughter of her parents’ four daughters. Her father worked in the computer business and earned millions at the time. But Tanya, like any Southern woman, was raised middle-class. She once said in an interview that it was a big deal where she grew up, and that cheerleading was the only profession for girls. In fact, cheerleading was all about women out there in town.

Tanya graduated in 1980. She later began taking language classes to soften her speaking skills and accent. She also began studying art and design, and was only 20 when she married. At the time, her husband was a Georgia-based jewelry salesman, but the marriage failed, and they divorced after two years. In the mid-80s, Tanya began to take up modeling projects. She began working in advertising, catwalk, and print in Atlanta.
She started her side business in the clothing industry. After that, she was allowed to represent Joan Vass, Andrea Jovine, and other clothing lines. During this time, her duties included handling the 26-foot-long, 10-foot-tall showroom that used to be filled with clothing, and going from store to store to pick up orders. It was around 1993 when Dan Snyder met Tanya, and they both had businesses. While Dan Snyder was famous on his own terms, Tanya owned a showroom, a model, and a sales representative who made a six-figure income.

Tanya was recently the co-owner and co-CEO of the Washington Commanders. She has been known to be an integral part of the team since it was taken over by her husband, Dan. It is noted that after 2000, Tanya directed teamwork towards social and community endeavors. They donated over $31 million to the local community as part of the Charitable Foundation. She became the catalyst for the significant change and evaluation of the Washington Commanders (the American Football Team) and forever became the future.

Daniel and Tanya walked down the aisle in 1994, almost five years before the couple bought the Redskins. As of 2023, the couple has been married for 29 years.
