Allie LaForce is a popular American journalist, model, and beauty pageant champion who is a reporter for Turner Sports, which covers the NBA on TNT. She also worked as the host of We Need to Talk on the CBS Sports Network and as a sports anchor and reporter for the Fox-affiliated WJW.
Early life
Alexandra Leigh LaForce, commonly known as Allie LaForce, was born on December 11, 1988, in Vermilion, Ohio, in the United States of America. She is the daughter of Lesa LaForce and Wade LaForce. She didn’t mention anything about her siblings.
Allie attended Vermilion High School as a student. She then attended Ohio University and graduated from there. She majored in journalism at the EW Scripps School of Journalism.
Allie LaForce Career
Allie began her pageant career on August 8, 2005. She represented Ohio at the Miss Teen USA 2005 pageant, which was held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She competed with others in an evening dress and bathing suit and was then announced the winner after being spotted in the final round of interviews of the competition.
Allie began her journalism career, first as a part-time reporter for Sports Time Ohio at the 2010 Mid-American Conference MAC Men’s Basketball Tournament and also at the 2011 OHSAA Basketball Championship.
She then signed to WHW Channel 8, a Cleveland Fox affiliate, as a presenter and reporter. In 2014, Allie was announced as Tracy Wolfson’s replacement as a sideline reporter for the SEC on CBS.
Allie was announced to be leaving CBS Sports in June 2018 as the two sides couldn’t agree on a new deal, but Allie still makes occasional appearances on CBS due to her reporting role on March Madness.
She later signed with Turner Sports to continue her role as a sideline reporter for TNT’s NBA and NCAA tournaments.
