Ashley Callingbull is a Canadian actress, famous model and television personality. She and her stepfather competed in the fourth season of The Amazing Race Canada. They also competed in the second Amazing Race Devon, a local youth fundraiser, where they placed second.
Early life
Ashley was born on October 21, 1989 in Enoch, Alberta, Canada to Joel Ground and Lisa Ground. Her father is an entrepreneur and her mother is a housewife. Mariah Callingbull, her pretty sister, is also a highly attractive model and social media influencer. She graduated from high school at the age of 16. Callingbull later enrolled in college and earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications and an Arts degree with majors in Acting and Drama/Television.

Ashley Callingbull is a Cree First Nations woman from the Enoch Cree Nation of Alberta. She is a professional tap, ballet, jazz and pointe dancer who has performed in The Nutcracker. Ashley’s passion for acting led her to star in a commercial for The Hudson Bay and since then she has appeared in television mini-series, stage productions and voiced cartoons.
In New Zealand, she appears in Blackstone, a television show airing on APTN, Showcase, Maori Television and Hulu Television. She is the first Cree woman to reach this milestone. Ashley was crowned Miss Canada in 2010 and has since competed in beauty pageants in China, Europe and Barbados.

During her tenure as Miss Universe Canada 2010 finalist, she visited hospitals and schools to speak about her life and reach out to people. Ashley is the current Mrs. Universe 2015 and a Canadian activist for First Nations rights and environmental issues. Callingbull also works as a model and spokesperson for the Nike N7 group.
