His father, Roger memorial service was held at the Key West United Methodist Church in Key West on 4th April 2018. Darrell Miklos’s siblings’ names are Laurie, Kelly, and Kim, and also has an aunt, Judy. He is a certified deep-sea diver, recognized by the NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors).

Darrell Miklos is the co-founder of Gemini Marine Exploration, a historical Shipwreck Recovery company. He founded the company in November 2014. Also, Darrell is a member of the American Academy of Underwater Science. He gained popularity for the TV series documentary “Cooper’s Treasure” (2017-2018). The series airs on the Discovery Channel and revolves around the maps and anomalies discovered during Gordon Cooper’s space missions. News Nation also featured him.
