Jameson Williams is an American professional football wide receiver for the Detroit Lions of the NFL, nicknamed “Jamo.”

Jameson Williams was born in Ohio to James William and Tianna Williams. Jameson Williams questioned his father’s decision three years ago to sign up in Alabama and play football in Ohio State. After two seasons in Red and Dark, he’s a star in Red and White. His father chose the path of honor for him. Jameson also competed at Cardinal Ritter, where he won consecutive Class 3 state titles and set the state record in the 300-meter hurdles. Williams began his college career as a member of the Ohio State football team.
In his freshman season, he caught six passes for 112 yards and one touchdown. He started in six games as a sophomore and had nine receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Williams scored a touchdown on a 45-yard reception against Clemson in the 2021 Sugar Bowl. Williams announced his exit from the program after the season. He eventually decided to transfer to Alabama, and in his debut season with the Crimson Tide, Williams was selected as a starter.
