Josh Rivera is a junior baseball player on the Florida Gators baseball team and one of the top batsmen in the country. He played in 25 games as a senior at IMG Academy and hit .352 with 25 RBI. He was named the tournament’s MVP for his efforts in helping the Florida Burn win the 2018 Perfect Game World Wood Bat Association World Championship in Jupiter.

He hit .500 (2-for-3) on a homer against Kentucky and .500 (homer, HR, 3 RBI, 2 runs) against Missouri. He had eight games with multiple RBIs and 18 games with multiple hits (fourth on the team). Against Alabama in the SEC tournament, Josh recorded a 2-on-5 with three RBI. He had a .962 fielding percentage on 264 shortstop defenses.
