Ken Jennings is an American game show contestant who achieved the highest gross earnings of his time. He is also a presenter, TV presenter, and author. After a huge hit on the show Jeopardy! He wrote about his experiences in a book called Brainiac. Ken Jennings later signed on as a consulting producer on Jeopardy – a venture that included a role in the on-air reading category. Ken Jennings was born on May 23, 1974, in suburban Seattle. Although born in the US, he spent his childhood in Seoul, South Korea. He spent almost fifteen years with his family in Singapore and Korea, where his father worked to earn a living for the whole family. Ken was addicted to watching American pop culture, which used to be televised on the Armed Forces Network. Spending his free time while watching Jeopardy was his favorite pastime, which he spent at home after each afternoon when he got home from school.
After returning home, he continued his studies by enrolling at the University of Washington. In the years that followed, he worked as a volunteer missionary for The Church of Latter-day Saints, where he was set apart in Madrid, Spain, to serve himself. Later in 1996, he was transferred to Brigham Young University, where he continued to play Quiz Bowl and serve as captain. He completed his tenure in 2000.
