Lindsey Jacobellis was born on August 19, 1985 in Danbury, Connecticut. Ben Jacobellis (father) and Anita Jacobellis (mother) are her parents and also have a brother named Ben who competed in the X Games when he was 15 years old. Lindsey’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was young, but was able to seek treatment thanks to early discovery.
