Mason Greenwood is an English professional footballer who plays for Manchester United, a Premier League club team. He has also won a number of caps for the England national team and mostly plays in the forward position. In 2018 he was named Player of the Tournament when he won the ICGT Trophy in the Netherlands. Mason Greenwood was born on October 1, 2001 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. His parents’ names are Melanie Hamilton and Andrew Greenwood. He also has a sister named Ashton. Mason attended St. Winefride, which was his elementary school. He also attended Appleton Academy as he wanted to build a career as a football player. At the age of six he was playing at the Manchester United Club’s development school in Halifax.

Mason joined the U18 squad for the 2017-2018 season and scored 17 goals in 21 games. He was one of the U18 Premier League North’s top scorers. He made his professional debut in 2018/19, playing in the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Premier League 2 and other competitions. He was also spotted in a tie against San Jose Earthquakes. On 12 May 2018 he made his senior debut for the club, beating Cardiff City 2-0. In 2019/20, aged 17, he scored a Europa League goal against Kazakhstan. He played matches against Partizan Belgrade, Sheffield United, AZ Alkmaar, Norwich City, LASK, Watford, Tranmere Rovers and other teams.
His games have been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Next year, on 4 September 2020, he received the number 11 shirt from Manchester United. Controversy
On January 30, 2022, he was charged with raping and assaulting his girlfriend. His girlfriend posted a series of assaults on her social media accounts. There were images of injuries and audio where he forces her to get sexual. Greater Manchester Police investigate and arrest him on suspicion of rape and assault. As a result, he was suspended by United.
