Born on June 17, 2001, in Owasso, Oklahoma, Rylie is the daughter of Gayla Carnagey. Trevor is her only sibling and he played baseball for Oklahoma State, choosing Oklahoma over Kansas, Tulsa, and Oklahoma State.
She attended two summers of the Texas Glory game in McKinney, Texas with Kevin Shelton’s team. She finished summer 2018 with a .449 batting average, 65 hits, 44 runs, 32 RBIs, 21 stolen bases, and a perfect fielding percentage. Rylie was ranked 28th on Extra Innings Softball’s Elite 100 and 59th on Flo Softball’s Hot 100 in the class of 2019.

Throughout her career, Rylie delivered whenever needed, especially in crucial games. Rylie made an impressive start as a freshman, playing in midfield for the first four games and batting well before getting injured. She had a .467 batting average, hit 7 of 15, and made an impression against George Washington with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored.
In her sophomore year, Rylie earned a first-team spot in the Academic All-Big 12. She played 55 games starting in the outfield and infield. Rylie maintained a batting average of .412 and a .483 on-base percentage. She also showed her versatility on bases, stealing six bases in seven tries.
