In March 2010 against Finland, Popp scored her first goal after making her senior debut in February 2010 against North Korea. She was a member of the German team that took home the gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and placed fourth in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
