In 1986, one of his fellow deejays introduced him to producer Robert French, who assisted him in releasing his breakthrough single ‘The Rule’ in 1987. His first recorded song, ‘Boom Bye Bye’, was published in 1988, and he signed with Penthouse Records in 1991, working with producer Dave Kelly. Later, Dave formed his label, Madhouse Records.
