Eddie Penney was born in Mansfield, Texas in 1978 and graduated from American Military University. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in security Management. He received his certification as a Fitness Instructor from (ISSA) the International Sports Sciences Association and EMT Emergency Medical Technician from Tidewater Community College. Despite all his degrees and certificates, Eddie is a professional French and English speaker.

Eddie began his career in 1996 when he was hired by the United States Marine Corps and continued the position for four years as an infantryman and urban terrain instructor. During this time he taught the young officers various subjects including security basics, operations & tactics, situational awareness, and how to react calmly in emergencies. He later performed US Navy duties and remained in the same position for nearly 16 years. From 2000 to 2016, he directed his Navy duties in the Norfolk, Virginia, Area.
Since January 2013 he has been the CEO and founder of the Contingent Group. The company was active in the field of global security service providers. The company offers bespoke security measures and helps individuals with their assets, properties, and events. Depending on the needs of the customer, it goes through full-fledged service programs and full protection.
Today, Eddie has grown into another professional, including a retired Navy SEAL Tier 1 Operator and Marine, CEO and Founder of the Contingent Group, public speaker, and featured on numerous podcasts.
