She joined The University of Winnipeg in August 2016 as a Digital Infrastructure Librarian. On July 6, 2021, the @UWpgLibrary Twitter account officially announced that she had been appointed associate dean of the library.

Emma Hill Kepron is a hardworking and talented woman who was eligible to be a Jeopardy! Season 39 show in which she competed with two contestants. Devin Lohman, an architectural designer and graduate student from Peachtree City, is the first entrant. The second candidate is Sam Claussen, a history professor from Santa Clarita.
- In the first round, she gave ten correct answers. After the round match, she won $6,600 followed by other contestants who ranked Sam [$6400] in second position and Devin [$1000] in third place.
- The categories under Double Jeopardy! Round play, players tried their best to take the lead. Devin gave 13 correct answers, Sam gave 23 correct answers and Emma gave 17 correct answers. The result after Double Jeopardy! She won $15,400, Sam won $18,400 and Devin won $10,200.
- In the final round of the Jeopardy game show, which was a triple trip where no one knew the answer, Kepron got it right. With caution, she only bet $4,000 on her answer. At the last moment, she got a total of $11,400.
