Eric Ahasic was reportedly born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1989, making him approximately 32 years old. Tom Ehasic is his father while Mary Ehasic Norberg is his mother. On stage at the show, Eric revealed that he had always had a dream of performing for the show for many years and now his dream has been fulfilled.

Eric Ahasic said that he grew up in Illinois and has lived there his entire life, just while applying for Jeopardy every year. He grew up and spent his days watching the show and playing the trivia game at his grandmother’s house.
He took part in the Quiz Bowl once while in school and tried hard for The Jeopardy in 2004 when Ken Jennings was on his record-breaking 74-game winning streak. For the past 15 years he had turned up for quizzes to be on the show, and while he sometimes passed the exams, he still couldn’t pass all the quiz rounds.
Back in March 2021, Eric gave his 15th try at the Jeopardy performance. He was selected for another round and called to audition in July. He was later informed that he could now appear for the show to star on national television.
Eric said on stage that making Jeopardy involves everyone – the participants, coordinators, cameraman and presenter – all helping to calm the environment or things and help people have fun together.

Eric Ahasic Jeopardy Journey
Eric Ahasic performed superbly on the June 6, 2022, show, winning by defeating 16-day winner personality Ryan Long. He made waves when he defeated long-runner Ryan Long for the first time for a total of $299,401.
Eric won the sum of $18,401 and later dominated other contestants’ performances by winning a whopping $21,600 for a two-day winning streak totaling $40,001.
Meteorologist Eric, 32, said he’s been a fan of the show since he was a teenager and finally got a chance to perform for the show after trying for about 15 years.
