Early life
Gaby Lopez was born on November 9, 1993, in Mexico City, Mexico. She started playing golf when she was five years old. She eventually moved to Monterrey and enrolled in the American School Foundation of Monterrey. The Callaway Junior World, Mayakoba Junior Classic, and Campeonato Nacional Infantil/Juvenil are just a few of the junior competitions Lopez has won both in Mexico and abroad.
Lopez played collegiate golf at the University of Arkansas, where she won three tournaments and was a 2015 First-Team All-American.
