Haley led the Pac-12 in both hits (75) and stolen bases (31) in 2021, ranking fifth and 11th nationally in those two categories, respectively. She also led the Utes in batting averages (.391), runs (46), triples (5), and multi-hit games (23).
Haley Denning stole 12 straight bases before being kicked out on her second try in the first game of a doubleheader on March 24 against Utah Valley and stole nine straight before being kicked out in Arizona on April 24. Denning started the season as a primary left fielder but was moved to shortstop mid-season due to injuries disrupting the lineup. Wherever she played, she excelled on the field, including scoring a career-best four goals against Oregon State on May 14.
Denning topped the Pac-12 in stolen bases for the second straight year in 2022 (24). She had 62 hits, finishing second on the roster, and had a .367 batting average.
