Izzy Scane is an American personality and established lacrosse player who signed on to play for Northwestern ’22. She is one of the top varsity players in NCAA lacrosse, not just in her state but in the entire country.

Izzy Scane’s full name is Isabelle Rae Scane and she was raised by her loving and caring parents Joseph and Patricia Scane. Her parents have a sporting background; Her father was a wrestler at Grand Valley School and her mother Patrica used to skate the Grand Valley State track.
Izzy Scane is younger than her brother James Scane, a board-certified nuclear medicine doctor. Izzy had competition in her earlier stages from other famous names like Liza Elder and Elle Hanson. While playing lacrosse at her college, she started 20 games and had a record-breaking tally of two goals, two balls, and two losses at No. 16 Duke. In addition, she had a career record of six goals, including an extra groundball and six draw controls with Rutgers.
In the next four straight games, she scored more than four goals against Marquette, Penn State, No. 5 Penn, and Johns Hopkins. Her team also competed in the NCAA championship, reaching the semifinals against Maryland. Izzy contributed five goals, one assist, one ground ball, two forced losses, and four draw controls.
2020
Izzy played all of the season’s games as a forward. She scored eight goals, a career-best, and had extra control of the tie by conceding a turnover against North Carolina.
2021
Izzy had a career-best record of nine goals and three assists against Ohio State. She also had a game-best four goals, two assists, and a win over Johns Hopkins while contributing three ground balls. She set the goal record in a single game for the Northwestern program during the season, scoring a career-high 10 goals against Rutgers.

During her participation in the NCAA tournament, she broke the season record for goals, scoring eight goals for the season total of 89 goals, holding the opening in her hands. Izzy Scane did not play a game due to a buttock injury that kept her out of the game all year.
2023
Izzy begins the season with a record 10 goals against Notre Dame. When she played for Marquette, she scored a game-best eight goals. She scored seven goals against Michigan and four goals against the then No. 1 North Carolina, contributed four goals and four assists in the game against Standford, and scored six goals against Penn State in March 2023 season games on March 19, 2023.
