Jeanne Karine Goursaud was born on April 4, 1996 in Pinneberg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. However, she has both French and German nationality as she only grew up in France. She wanted to be an actress from a young age and so she attended the children’s and youth drama school at the age of 12. In 2014 she graduated from the TASK acting school for children and young people in Cologne, Germany. She is also a high school graduate. Jeanne did not reveal details about her parents and siblings. Growing up, she was pretty good at cheerleading and skiing.

At just 12 years old, Jeanne was determined that one day she would be a successful actress. For this reason, she also began taking acting classes. She made her debut in 2012 with Die Pfefferkorn, where she appeared in 2 episodes. In the same year she appeared in the TV series “News from Büttenwarder” as Paula Bertram. Since her debut, she has been in the spotlight with her various projects.
From 2013 to 2014 she appeared in Charlotte’s World, The Murderer’s Mother and In Your Dreams. In 2015 she made her film debut with Expectations.
In 2016 she starred in the role of Raven in the TV movie The Seventh Hour, as Vanessa in Expectations and in The Peppercorns as Lara Lehnert and What does not kill us all. Her big career break came when she was cast in Bullyparade – The Movie as Babsirella in 2017. The movie was a hit as Jeanne was well appreciated for her role.
She then appeared that year in In truth: Murder on the Engelsgraben as Lisa and in Zaun a Zaun as Sofie Weidinger, in the TV film Der Schweinehirt as Princess Victoria, in Dieter Not Unhappy and in the short film Pestana as Anna.
Later in 2019, she was cast again in the sequel In Truth: Still Rests the Lake. That same year, she gave outstanding performances in all the roles she played, including 2019’s The Three Exclamation Marks, SOKO Wismar, Hubert and Staller, and A Heavenly Lazy Angel.
In 2020, she was cast in the Netflix series Barbarians as Thusnelda, who is the main character. She also starred in the sequel The Truth About Hunting as Lisa. Her TV series Para – We Are King is already being filmed.
