Early life
Legendary golfer Rory McIlroy was born on May 4th, 1989, making him around 33 years old in 2022. He grew up as the only child of Rosie McDonald and Gerry McIlroy in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland. He attended St. Patrick’s Primary School and later transferred to Sullivan Upper School. The father, Gerry McIlroy, was himself the best golfer of his time, once playing at the scratch handicap level.
