Early Life
Puka Nacua was born in Provo, Utah, on May 29, 2001, to Penina and Lionel Nacua. Three of the couple’s six children are already professional footballers. Kai Nacua is a safety with the United States Football League’s Michigan Panthers, Samson Nacua briefly played wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, and Puka Nacua is presently a WR for the Los Angeles Rams.

The Seahawks were big favorites, while the Rams were coming off an injury-plagued 2022 season and were without top receiver Cooper Kupp, who was out with a hamstring ailment, but Nacua is a powerful element of the team’s offense. In his debut, he had 10 receptions for 119 yards as the Rams defeated the Seahawks 30-13.
In his second game, Nacua caught 15 catches for 147 yards, but the Rams fell 30-23 against the 49ers. With 25 receptions in two games, he set a new rookie record. He also achieved something no one else has done: in both of his first two games, he had more than ten receptions and more than 100 yards.
