Rick Riordan, the famous American author was born on June 5, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas.  He attended Alamo Heights High School where he graduated and first, he wanted to be a guitarist so attended the music program at North Texas State University.

For higher education purposes, Rick attended the University of Texas at Austin and received his education with majors in English and history. It is said that Rick’s parents divorced back in 1970 and Rick was mainly raised by his mother.
