Tatiana Schlossberg (Tatiana Celia Kennedy Schlossberg) is an American author and journalist. She is the granddaughter of John F. Kennedy, her mother’s father, who was a politician and served as the 35th President of the United States from January 1961 until his death on November 22, 1963.
Tatiana Schlossberg was born on May 5, 1990 in New York City, United States of America, where she was given the birth name Tatiana Celia Kennedy. Her mother’s name is Caroline Kennedy and she worked as an ambassador to Japan during her time. Her mother is the eldest child of John F. Kennedy (deceased), who is the wife of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy (deceased).
Tatiana Schlossberg is her parents’ second child and grew up alongside her other two siblings, Rose Schlossberg (born 1988) and Jack Schlossberg (born 1993). The three children were produced by mother Caroline Kennedy and father Edwin Schlossberg, and both parents have obtained American citizenship.
The three Kennedy siblings grew up in New York City on the Upper East Side. Tatiana grew up in an environment that allowed her to lead a moderate lifestyle within the family and follow her early academics. The family of five often appears to be close together and fooling around in the photos on Jack’s Instagram.
Born into a large millionaire family, Tatiana gained access to the city’s most elite private schools, including Brearley School for girls and Trinity School. The Kennedy girls attended All-Girls Brearley School together when they were children and Tatiana later received her BA from Trinity School in 2008.
After completing her elementary education, Tatiana went to Yale University and graduated in 2012 with a BA and a major in History. Her sister Rose went to Harvard University and her brother Jack followed Tatiana’s path to get his degree. Tatiana received her master’s degree from Oxford University in 2014.
Tatiana Schlossberg Career
She worked briefly as a journalist, covering climate change news and environmental facts for the Science Section of The New York Times. She began her professional life as an intern at The Times in 2014 and was later named a popular morning news writer in the New York Today column.
Before joining The Times as an intern, Miss Schlossberg appeared at the Yale Herald, writing stories about arts, entertainment and both in the first person and also briefly serving as the newspaper’s editor-in-chief. She has also covered her time while working with Bergen Record where she used to cover the crime stories.
The Kennedy family has a long tradition of growth through charity work, and Schlossberg indiscriminately joined the hands of her family in this regard. Back in September 2013, Schlossberg joined her mother’s hands and raised hands with other 160 members in a three-mile swim across the Hudson River from Nyack to Sleepy Hollow, following fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society was organized.
