Robert began his police career in 1999 with Washington State Petrol. On September 7, 2004 he moved to Bremerton and on February 6, 2006 to Union Gap in the Commercial Vehicles division. In December 2012 he returned to Operations Bearue and was based in Ellensburg. Robert moved to Yakima in 2014 and served the state for nearly 22 years, resigning from his job in 2021. He quit the job because he didn’t want to get vaccinated against Covid 19 and chose instead to be fired from the job.

Personal Life & Controversy

Robert attracted media attention and was trolled by people when he refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19. He became an anti-vaccination legend in October when he defied the government order and became one of many soldiers to lose their jobs as a result. There was an order for every police officer to get vaccinated and Robert disobeyed it as he didn’t trust the vaccine.
He posted a video of him saying he had not trusted vaccination despite overwhelming evidence that it is protective and successful in preventing extreme infections. Robert disobeyed the order and said Seattle Gov. Jay Inslee should kiss his ass and said the agency should not order vaccinations. Robert’s stupidity led to his death due to COVID-19 issues. He died in January 2022 at the age of 51.
