Stephen Curry is an American professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association’s Golden State Warriors. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time and the NBA’s best shooter.

Early life
Stephen Curry was born on March 14, 1988 at Summa Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio to Sonya Curry and Dell Curry while his father was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Seth Curry is his younger brother and Sydel Curry is his sister. Curry attended Charlotte Christian School and received honors from all conferences and all states. He eventually settled on Davidson College, which had recruited him since he was in ninth grade.
Stephen Curry career
At the 2007 FIBA U-19 World Championship, Stephen Curry made his national team debut for the United States. He was a member of Team USA, which won the silver medal. He won the gold medal in the 2010 edition of the tournament. In the 2014 competition, he helped his team win the championship.
The Golden Warriors selected Stephen for the 2009 NBA Draft. He was voted Rookie of the Month in the Western Conference. Curry became the first player in NBA history to be unanimously named MVP in May 2016. They defeated the Cavaliers for their second championship. His club won their third league title in the 2018 playoffs. The Warriors were able to reach the finals in the 2018/19 season.
He was named the franchise’s all-time top scorer after his team’s victory over the Denver Nuggets in the 2020-21 season. In April, he was again named Western Conference Player of the Month. Curry became the first player in NBA history to hit 500 three-pointers in the career playoffs against the Memphis Grizzlies on May 9, 2022 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
