Yana won the USGA US Girls Junior Champion 2022. For the last seven to eight years, she has been traveling to events nationwide and participating in golf. Yana has won around 118 golf tournaments by the age of 15. In 2022, she won the Hilton Grand Vacations Annika Invitational event; before that, she won Joanne Winter Arizona Silver Bell Tournament.
Eventually, she became the youngest in tournament history to win the Winter Arizona Silver Bell Tournament at 14. Yana had her second Augusta National Women’s Amateur appearance as U.S. Girls’ Junior Champion 2022. It was her fourth trip to reach Augusta National, where she reached the drive, chip, and putt national finals in 2021 and also appeared in the nationals of 2019.
Yana completed the competition in sixth place and had the 14-stroke win at the two International Junior Golf Tour events in Florida in 2023. In July 2022, she defeated former National Finalist Gianna Clemente while available at The Club at Olde Stone in Kentucky.
In 2021, she represented the United States in the Junior Solheim Cup. She was among the top five champions at the U.S. Girls’ Junior and Girls’ Junior PGA Championship. Yana Wilson began her y2022 year by standing for the Annika Invitational in a playoff with Anna Davis, where Yana won the competition. On the other hand, Anna Davis became the future winner of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur champion.
