Early life
Yumi Nu was born on September 23, 1996 in Englewood, New Jersey, USA to Brent Nu and Kana Grace Nootenboom. She has a younger sister named Natalie Nootenboom. Her parents supported her modeling career. As a toddler, her mother took her to various modeling shoots.
