Bulent Gurcan is an American director, producer, and actor. He is one of the cast members of the show Naked and Afraid Castaways (2023). He is an American citizen of Turkish descent who has spent most of his adult life working as a Border Patrol Officer in El Paso County, Texas.
Early Life
Bulent Gurcan was born on 2nd January 1976 and grew up on Turkish soil. He had his Bachelor of Science – BS, Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, he had another degree, Master of Science – MS, Health and Human Performance from Northwestern State University.
Bulent Gurcan Career
Bulent began his career as a Power Generation Specialist at the US Army from 2000 to 2003, based in Fort Bliss, TX. From 2006 to 2007, he worked as a US Border Patrol Agent based in Fabens, TX. Later, he worked as a CBP Officer for nearly ten years, from 2008 to 2018, at the Department of Homeland Security/Customs and Border Protection, based in Point Roberts, WA. Then he worked for Overlook Entertainment as Dogan/Lead for less than a year.
He played the lead character of Dogan and had a short film. Since May 2018, he has worked part-time with Discovery Inc. for shows like Naked and Afraid, Lone Survivor, & Naked and Afraid Castaways. He has also been the co-founder of Entangled Exposure Entertainment since March 2021, based in New York, United States, and is handling the company remotely.
