Frank James is a New York person suspected of being the person of interest in the mass shooting on a Brooklyn subway. During the shooting, a man was seen holding a .9mm caliber handgun. At the evening’s conference, Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell said it was truly fortunate that it hadn’t gotten worse. The gunman opened two canisters that spread smoke throughout the subway car, injuring 10 people. Authorities also recovered a 0.9mm semi-automatic pistol, extended magazines, petrol, firecrackers, a fuse and a hatchet at the scene. Authorities also located the Van U Haul at the scene, believed to be linked to the suspect, but there is no confirmation of this. The police commander said in the statement that seven men and three women were shot dead and 13 other people were injured from smoke inhalation, falls and panic attacks.

Statements from victims
Hourari Benkada, 27, sat next to the suspect and was shot in the knee, he told CNN. He’s been detailing the shooting for the last two minutes. According to the reports, the gunman told people to move or “run,” and later said “Oops my evil” after detonating a smoke bomb.
It was a chilling scene where the shooter was suspected of shooting randomly while moving around a busy subway car. He detonated the smoke grenades and soon filled the air with smoke. According to one of the witnesses who saw the whole incident, the news said the train stopped for 5 minutes as it was about to hit 36th Street.
Suddenly the suspect took the gas mask out of his small luggage. He opened the gas tanks and said “Oops, my bad”. He pulled out an ax and dropped the bomb on the ground, then started shooting the gun at people at random. The suspect started shooting into the crowd. He probably couldn’t see anything because of the smoke everywhere. The witness, Catherine Garcia, 34, added that they all hoped the gunman wouldn’t execute them by shooting one by one.
This is my opinion I think that Franc James wanted to be captured for personal reason. The fact that no body was killed say something. With the situation of today, you can not make a living, maybe is better to go to jail at the age of 62 at least you have a bed to sleep and food for the rest of your live. This is sad but reality.
