She grew up alongside her two sisters Breanne and Chandler. Her younger sister, Chandler, remained a student at the Clemson campus. Kelsey is the granddaughter of William Riggs. He also studied under Clemson before enlisting in the Navy and later changed careers and became a football player at USC. Kelsey joined the WCNC network in Charlotte, NC. There she was appointed sports presenter and reporter. She spent three years with the company and was later fired from her job. Kelsey is a woman of above-average build. Kelsey began her broadcasting career at CBS affiliate WCSC-TV. For about a year she held her job at Live 5 News while also working as a production assistant. After that, she went to WBTW-TV in Florence in 2012. She was appointed sports presenter for two years and worked until 2015.
Kelsey Riggs then worked at WCNC-TV for four years, where she worked as a sports presenter/reporter. She served at the front and center of the camera while covering Carolina Panthers coverage.
