Kenny Gajewski was born on October 23, 1971, in Los Alamitos, California. He attended high school in Los Alamitos. After high school, he attended Cerritos College. He spent a year there as a redshirt. He played under Falcon trainer Dave Serrano. For the remaining two years of his high school athletics career, he relocated to Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma.

Kenny Gajewski career

Kenny played baseball at Cerritos College for one season and then transferred to Cal State Dominguez Hills for the next two years. In 1994 he finally transferred to Oklahoma University and joined the Sooners. The university won the national championship that year. The win earned him the post of assistant coach at Oklahoma University the following season.

He served as the manager of baseball operations in Tennessee for one season. He was responsible for day-to-day operations and management of the UT warehouse. In 2012, he joined the Florida softball team as an assistant coach under head coach Tim Walton. The Gators went on to win back-to-back national championships under his tutelage.

Oklahoma State Softball

Kenny worked there for three years before joining the Oklahoma State softball program as a head coach. Since then, the Oklahoma State softball team has competed in three consecutive Women’s College World Series. In 2022, the team clinched its first conference title of the Big 12 era.
