Lisa McCubbin is an American journalist and author. She is also the author of four New York Times bestsellers. In 2011 she was nominated for the News & Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Historical Programming and next year for the Goodreads Choice Awards Best Memoir & Autobiography. Lisa McCubbin was born on January 12, 1964 in the United States of America. The details about her parents and siblings have been kept private and kept away from the media. From a young age she showed an interest in reading. In 1983 she went to UC Santa Barbara and majored in liberal arts. She was also part of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Society. She formerly reported live for morning newscasts and filled in news anchors for lunchtime and weekend newscasts. In February 1999, she worked as a television news reporter at KERO-TV(ABC). She was the general reporter for evening news programs. In November of the same year she was a news anchor and reporter for KGET-TV (NBC). In 2001 she worked as a media consultant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On December 5, 2021, she married Clint Hill. Clint was a former US Secret Service agent known for his bravery in the President’s motorcade when US President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. In 2016, she met Hill and was in a relationship. They tied the knot in a private and intimate wedding ceremony at their home in Belvedere, California.
