Rasheed Walker is an American football offensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. He was signed to Penn State after completing his academic hours at North Point High School in Maryland, where he continued his football games under the tutelage of former Florida and NFL OT Phil Trautwein.
He is a key four-star recruit and had 11 sacks on defense as a senior. Before accepting a redshirt in 2018, he played football in the first four games as a reserve offensive lineman. He later started his 13-game start in left tackle and earned All-Big Ten Conference honors while playing on the blindside. He had his first nine starts in 2020, 10 starts in 2021 and missed one season of 2021, particularly the second half, due to injuries.

Rasheed Walker was born on February 13, 2000 to Karen and Alfred Walker in Washington, DC with the birth name Rasheed Amar Walker. Walker began his high school career as a four-time letterman for head coach Tom Petre while enlisted at North Point High School. He has also remained a three-time team captain, where he helped the Eagles reach the record 12-1 and a state semifinal berth that made school history in the 2017 season. He was honored with the title of US Army All-American Cup.
Walker appeared in Nike’s The Opening Finals for Lunar Beast where he stood with a first-team spot. Despite this, he earned the honor of the 2017 first-team Washington Post All-Met and the 2016 second-team Washington Post All-Met. He accumulated 63 tackles and 11.0 sacks, anchored the offensive line and averaged 37 points per game as a senior. He received four-star recruitment prospects from all three major recruitment outlets, including 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals.
In the 2018 season he was used in a total of 4 games. He was honored to be one of 16 true freshmen to make their college debut. He was also honored as one of 40 players who made their first signing for Penn State.
Rasheed began gaining recognition with the offensive line unit for the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll. He was also named to the Pro Football Focus Big Ten Team in 2019. Rasheed made his first start of 13 starts in the left tackle. He was honored with one of the 18 Penn State Nittany Lions where he had his first career start.
Rasheed was also honored as one of the first 29 players to make their college debut during the season. He led his team for 673 total yards, the third most in the game since 1947. He led his team for Penn State to a Cotton Bowl record with five rushing touchdowns and helped Penn State total 396 yards, which became a program bowl and second-highest record in the story of Cotton Bowl.
Walker was awarded the third-team All-Big Ten honors by the media and All-Big Ten by the coaches. He began his sophomore 2019 season with nine games at left tackle and helped Penn State get second in the Big Ten in overall offense — 430.3. Rasheed helped Nittany Lion’s offensive 488 yards, 250 of them on the ground. He rushed for his career-high 119 yards, three touchdowns and 238 yards while protecting the team against Sean Clifford.
