Sandra Douglass Morgan has made history on Thursday as hired as President of the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday, July 7, 2022. She is now the first black woman to serve on a team in NFL history. Previously, she was vice chair of the Las Vegas Super Bowl hosting committee and chair of the Nevada Gaming Control Board from 2019 to 2021. During this time, her work involved researching laws and information on various political issues and organizing fundraisers for the organization. From 2002 to 2005 she devoted three years of her life to Parker, Nelson & Arin, Chtd. while working for her as an Associate Attorney. During her tenure with the Company, she practiced construction law, administrative law, personal injury and corporate law and dealt with various practices and litigation before the Nevada Supreme Court.
From 2005 to 2008, Morgan served as litigator at MGM Resorts International where she handled or handled litigation on behalf of MGM MIRAGE’s properties in southern Nevada. She also showed her involvement in revising standard operating procedures for risk management and safety departments. Sandra dedicated 8 years of her life to the City of North Las Vegas, beginning in the position of Assistant City Attorney through Assistant Chief Attorney, being promoted to Assistant City Attorney and later or eventually holding the position of City Attorney.
