Under these penalties, the university saw a record of 9-by-19 in the 2004-05 season and 4-by-13 in the Big 12 Conference-only 2005–06 season, all under the guidance of Scott. After having a few games in the NCAA Elite Eight, the team was invited by the NCAA Tournament for the season 2012-13.
