Early Life

Blake Corum was born on 25th Nov 2000, in Marshal, Virginia. He went to St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Blake Corams, parents are Kristin Corams and James Corams. His father James went on to have a successful football career of his own, playing for the Los Angeles Rams in the 1980s.

Blake started loving the game of football because of his father too. His mother, Kristin Corum, played a key role in supporting Blake’s dreams and aspirations and encouraging him to pursue his goals without giving up.

When Blake became a senior he rushed for 1438 yards and had 22 touchdowns. For his contribution, his team came 4th in the national ranking. He was rewarded as Gatorade Player of the Year in Maryland during the 2019-20 year and also as a Baltimore Sun’s Offensive Player of the Year.

In the month of September, he recorded his third straight 100-yard rushing and became the first player in Michigan to do so since Denard Robinson in 2011. He is also the first player since Mike Hart in 2007 to start a season with three 100-yard games.

He ran for 243 yards which makes it more yards than any Michigan player since 2010. Blake ran for more yards in the next few games against Iowa, Indiana, Penn State, and Michigan State. He was named the best offensive player in the Big Ten for two weeks.

In the 11th game against Illinois had a knee injury and had to miss two games for the injury. He finished seventh in the voting for the best player in college football, won the Big Ten Player of the Year award, and was unanimously named an All-American. On Jan, 23 he announced he was going to stay for another year at Michigan.
