Mark Few was born on December 27, 1962, in Creswell, Oregon making him 60 years old in 2023. From 1990-91 he worked as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Gonzaga University. Mark was promoted and worked as an assistant coach at Gonzaga University from 1992-1999. On April 16, 1999, he was named Associate Head Coach of Gonzaga University. On July 26, 1999, he was named the Gonzaga University head coach for the Gonzaga Bulldogs (unofficially known as the Zags) men’s basketball team.

Mark is a generous man and is known for his philanthropy. Likewise, his wife Marcy is a kind-hearted woman. In 2002, the couple initiated the Spokane-area branch of Coaches vs Cancer. At the time, the event became the largest fundraiser in the country, raising over $1 million for the American Cancer Society. He later started a culture of charitable service and giving at Gonzaga.
