Anton Watson was born on October 6, 2000, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho making him 22 years old in 2023. His father, Deon Sr., played college basketball at the University of Idaho (1990–94). At the time, his father held the Vandal record for career rebounds (877) and was playing professionally in Europe and South America. His mother is Anna Hegbloom Watson. His brother Deon Watson Jr. married and was blessed with children named Julius.
Previously, his brother played college football at the college where his father was educated (2013-2016). Deon Watson Jr. played there as a tight end and wide receiver at Idaho University. His sister Haile Watson is also an athlete. She has had commitments with her collegiate universities, including Eastern Washington (2015) and Fresno State (2016–18).
