Remi Lindholm, also known as Glenn Jr., is an athlete well known as a cross country skier who has represented his country at international level, debuting in 2021 and represented his country at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Early life
Remi Lindholm was born on January 17, 1998 in Rovaniemi, Finland to Glenn Lindholm (father) and Johanna Lindholm (mother). Both parents were also athletes in cross-country skiing and also competed at world level. In total he has 3 brothers namely Kevin, Kent and Isac and a sister named Mette. Remi received his skiing training from Santeri Erola and his father Glenn Lindholm. He also trains his younger brother. Remi has not revealed his school or educational background, but is believed to have completed his training with Sotkamon Lukio and is currently completing a certified course in coaching.

Since childhood, Remi was interested in sports activities, which is evident because in long-distance running he won seven medals at Finnish junior national championships. Before becoming a skier, he also played and won soccer tournaments as a child. Since Remi’s parents were world-level skiers, he first skied when he was two years old. He was also influenced by cross-country skier Petter Northug (Norway), who is a two-time Olympic champion and 13-time world champion.
Before making his debut in January 2021 at the World Cup in Lahti, where he finished 48th in skiathlon, he also competed at the U23 World Championships in 2020 and 2021, where he begged 8th place in the relay and 15th place as the best individual result on the 15 km freely occupied or
