Pittsburgh Pirates (2016-2018)
Tyler began his 2017 season in the Pittsburgh starting lineup. Initially, he struggled with command, giving up five runs in four hits and having to make do with five runs in 1+2/3 innings pitched. He was optioned for a June transfer to Indianapolis after posting a record 7.45 ERA and 1.91 WHIP in 12 starts.
