Trevor Story is an American professional baseball second baseman for the Boston Red Sox of MLB (Major League Baseball). Before that, he has played for the Colorado Rockies in MLB. He made his career debut in MLB in 2016. Having set some of the outstanding records in MLB and winning many titles in 5 years, he was named National Rookie of the Month in April 2016.

He was born in the town of Irving, Texas in the United States of America. He was born to Mr.Ken Story and Mrs.Teddie Story. Also, he was born in November 1992 and celebrates his birthday on November 15 every year.
In an interview, he revealed that he is very close to his mother. He has a brother named Tyler Story, he played baseball for the University of Texas at Austin. Aside from playing baseball, he was into football during his high school years.
He completed his undergraduate years as a freshman, sophomore, and high school student at Irving High School in his hometown of Irvin, Texas. Trevor played both football and baseball there, but football was just casual football, but he played baseball for his school team called the Tigers Baseball Team, he played pitcher and shortstop for the team.

His baseball career began very early when he played for the Team Tigers baseball team in high school, and his pro career began in 2011 when he was selected in MLB as a first-round shortstop with a 45th overall pick. In 2011 he signed a baseball contract with the Casper Ghosts as a rookie.
He then played for the Asheville Tourists in the Class-A South Atlantic League (SAL) in 2012. Prior to the 2013 season, Story was ranked 99th by MLB.com, up until 2016, as mentioned above, he played in minor leagues which gave his career a boost. In 2016, his career got a kickstart when he played for the Colorado Rockies.
He missed almost half of the tournament due to thumb ligament surgery. That same season, he set a record by hitting home runs in his first 4 games and was named MLB Player of the Month in April.
His 2017 season wasn’t good for some reason. Besides, the following seasons including 2018, 2019 were not so good, but in 2020 he finished the season with 11th place in MVP voting. In terms of the awards he has achieved in his career, in addition to the Silver Slugger Award, he has won the All-Star award twice, and twice.
