Early Life
Taylor Moore was born on 28th July 1993 in San Angelo, Texas. His father is Rod Moore while his mother is Melinda Moore and he has a younger brother Payton Moore. He went to the University of Arkansas. Taylor was suspended from the university because of felony voyeurism alongside Nico Echavarría. But, he felt guilty, and Echavarría was found not to be involved in the case. His father coached and trained him throughout his golf career.

In 2014, Taylor Moore won the Saguaro Amateur and became the leading medalist in the qualifying round of the U.S. Amateur. Taylor turned professional in 2016, after which he started playing for the PGA Tours in Canada. He started getting his name counted in top-10 finishes and had one victory at the Staal Foundation Open.
Taylor stood in third place after receiving the tour’s order of merit to graduate from the Korn Ferry Tour in 2017. He played the Korn Ferry Tour for around four regular seasons, one of which was disrupted because he got a disease due to collapsed lung and could not play for several months.
Taylor had his first victory at Korn Ferry Tour in 2021, held during the COVID-19 pandemic extended. He was ranked fourth on the regular season points list, after which he earned the PGA Tour card for the 2021 to 22 season. At the Valspar Championship in March 2023, Taylor Moore won the PGA Tour for the first time and won the finals by one score from Adam Schenk.
