Dani Aravich is an American personality who is involved in track and field, biathlon and cross-country skiing by trade. 25-year-old Dani just made her debut at the Tokyo 2021 Paralympic Games but failed to make her journey to the finals. She is now ready to take the next step to prove herself at the Paralympics.
Early life
Dani was born on July 9, 1999 in Boise, Idaho, where she lived her entire life through adulthood. Dani was born with a missing hand and no forearm. She was raised by her loving and caring parents named Rob and Kate Aravich. Dani developed her passion for athletics and other games since childhood. She had an aspiration to work for the different games and show off on the field. Be it football, baseball, softball or ice skating, she tried all sports while growing up or while in school. She has outdone herself in all of these games while playing against able-bodied peers. Once, when she was in high school, Dani got a chance to perform at a cross-country race, she had no hesitation and immediately turned her back on it.
Rush for Career
Stuck in the success of performing on the field, she later decided to give up soccer and softball and apply to her school’s track and field program. Dani was admitted to Division 1 Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and began seeking the attention of several other colleagues and teachers in the college program. Throughout her freshman year, Dami competed as a Taurusdog for Butler in Cross Country, Indoor Track & Field, and Outdoor Track & Field. However, she suffered from knee problems, which became one of the biggest obstacles in her career. She later chose to focus solely on her studies and leave the team for the remainder of her undergraduate career.
But since childhood, Dani always dreamed of becoming a successful sports personality. She ended up with a couple of successful college internships with the Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis Colts. Later she began to dream of being in a position; She got the chance to pursue her dream with the Utah Jazz and moved to Salt Lake City after graduating. At one point, she was advised by a family friend to pursue her career in sports, particularly in athletics at the Paralympics. The idea crossed her mind and she again prepared to get ready for the games.
Dani Aravich Career
Dani Aka Danielle Aravich began living the dream of her position at the Paralympics, for which she began working. She managed to test the Paralympics and the most amazing thing was that she made the selection. She began juggling part-time work while also preparing for athletics. Dani got the chance to test them at a cross country and biathlon development camp in December 2019. This further spurred her training for the Tokyo Paralympic Games, but the pandemic hit the country and the events were postponed. Paralympic Tokyo 2021 is still her focus where she still dreams of achieving what is right for herself and what she deserves.
Dani has appeared twice at the Paralympics, once in 2020 and once in 2022. This time she will make her debut with the 13th sprint biathlon. Previously, Dani qualified for the Nordic Ski Team in Bozeman, Montana and for the World Cup in Slovenia, where she placed 4th in the overall results. After just six months, 25-year-old Dani Aravich is ready to make her debut at the Tokyo Summer Games and is now ready to prepare for the Beijing Winter Games.
Dani will swap her boots for skis at the cross-country and biathlon events. She attended the Tokyo Summer Games, which became one of her bad experiences. Even she described the experience in Tokyo as a “bad race”, where she finished fifth in the heats and couldn’t make it into the final. Dani calls her entry into the 2022 Winter Olympics her “double debut”.
